Frequently asked questions

How do I invite someone to a trip?

Open the trip → tap the gear icon → “Share group”. You can send a join link or share the 10-character code. They’ll be added instantly.

What if the join link doesn’t work?

Ensure the recipient has the latest Ledgex update and is signed in. They can also open the app manually and enter the code from the invite page.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. Settings → Profile lets you export or delete your account. Support can help with trip-specific exports for compliance or reimbursement.

How do receipts work?

When you attach a receipt, Ledgex uploads the photo securely to Firebase Storage and keeps it accessible to trip members only.

Does Ledgex handle payments?

No. Ledgex calculates balances and suggested settlements. You settle up by cash, Venmo, bank transfer, or however your group prefers.
